Conformity Assessment
The NFSI has established a conformity assessment portfolio aimed to offer credibly accredited services in areas of product testing, inspection, auditing, verification, validation, registration and certification. NFSI’s certification mark shall symbolize compliance where its credibility shall be selflessly guarded through ensuring fairness, impartiality, independence, transparency, maintenance of credible accreditations, observance of regulatory requirements, scientific ideals, and observance of established policies, procedures and industry norms. Therefore, NFSI is already seeking accreditation for ISO/IEC 17020, which is an international standard that specifies requirements for the competence of bodies performing inspection. It focuses on ensuring inspection bodies operate with impartiality, consistency, and technical expertise. Essentially, it provides a framework for inspection bodies to demonstrate their ability to conduct reliable and trustworthy inspections.
The NFSI is also seeking to be accredited for ISO/IEC 17021, an international standard that specifies requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems. It ensures these bodies operate competently, consistently, and impartially, building trust in the certification process. The NFSI also seeks to be accredited for ISO/IEC 17065 certification, a globally recognized standard for organizations that certify products, processes, and services. It ensures that these certification bodies operate competently, impartially, and consistently. This certification demonstrates credibility and integrity in certification activities, building trust with clients and stakeholder.
As the company grows its capacity for testing of the products, it will also seek for accreditation for ISO/IEC 17025, an international standard that specifies the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. It is a quality management system standard specifically designed for laboratories, ensuring they can consistently produce valid and reliable results. Essentially, it demonstrates that a laboratory is technically competent and able to generate accurate and reliable testing and calibration data.
Alongside these competencies the NFSI shall build its capacity and obtain relevant accreditations to provide credible certifications for sustainability and other specialist standards such as global GAP, organic, rain forest and green energy and other specialty standards and trade requirements.
The NFSI is dedicated to impartiality in execution of inspection, testing, auditing, verification, registration and certification activities.
